A Personal Message

Hi there, I'm Di Zhang, and Heartfelt Studio is the realization of my creative journey. Almost two decades ago, it was my girlfriend, now wife, who encouraged me to give photography a try. She recognized my artistic eye and creative side, stemming from my background in singing opera and studying music. Little did I know that this encouragement would lead me on a path that would become my true passion.

Since then, my love for capturing moments has only grown stronger. Getting married myself and becoming a father to my beautiful daughter, Emi, has ignited a deep passion within me to document the little moments in life. When I'm not capturing weddings, I strive to spend as many moments as I can with my wife and daughter, creating cherished memories together – whether it's tending to our garden, camping and hiking upstate, traveling to our favorite places, or simply relaxing and watching Netflix… sometimes it’s the little things that make life fun. These moments are the ones that inspire me to capture the authentic emotions and connections during weddings—the laughter, tears, and joy that make each celebration truly remarkable.
